How to order SMT stencils?
In order to process your order expeditiously, it is important that you read this document and complete the following steps properly.
Step 1: Generate RS-274X Gerber files. Please see the tab How to generate Gerber files.
Step 2: Obtain the stencil layer (also called cream or paste layer) from amongst the files generated in step 1. Make sure that the Gerber file is exactly what you want. We do not make any adjustments to your file. We cut it as they are.
Step 3: Put the stencil layer file in a .zip or .rar file.
Step 4: Select the material (e.g. Kapton, Mylar etc.).
Step 5: Select quantity, the number of stencils to be made from the Gerber file
Step 6: Attach your Gerber file.
Step 7: Add to cart and then Checkout.
Step 6: Once your payment is received, your stencil will be generated and mailed to your specified address.
Laser Cut Mylar and Kapton Stencils
Applied
Electronics (AE) offers inexpensive Mylar and Kapton stencils for use
in PCB assembly and production. AE's stencils are precision laser cut
with high quality American made machines having laser beam width of
0.005-0.007 inch (0.127-0.1778 mm). This narrow beam width allows us to
cut stencils for very small components such as 01005 inch (0.4 x 0.2mm),
0201 (0.6 x 0.3mm) and very fine pitch IC packages.
IC packages:
QFN, DFN, SOJ, SOIC, SSOP, QSOP QVSOP, TSSOP, MSOP, HSOP, TSOP, QFP, TQFP, LQFP, BGA, PLCXC, and more.
Common components:
0201, 402, 603, 805, 1206, 1210, 2010, 2512
